Life in Logan

It has been crazy around here for the past year! No excuse though, I should have been better about blogging. Life is good here in Logan, UT. Rob graduated last December and is waiting to start the Police Academy next January. He is still working for Iworq Systems but, started a sales position there. We are so grateful for his new job. Rob is a good husband and father and I am so grateful to him for how hard he works to support our little family.

Robbie is three! I can't believe how time flies. He started Sunbeams at church the beginning of the year and is doing great. He get's dressed by himself and doesn't need diapers anymore and is so smart. He likes to give me a run for my money. Between him and the new baby I should be super skinny by the end of the summer! He is also the sweetest little boy ever. He gives great hugs and says the cutest things to brighten my day. I am so grateful for his precious spirit in our home.

I am doing well, just waiting for baby number two to get here. I am due April 9th and am so ready! We are so excited for William Todd Hansen to get here. We're naming him William after my grandfather and Todd after Rob's dad. We are going to call him Will. I've been keeping myself busy getting things ready for Will to come. I can't believe I am going to be the mother of two boys! I hope I can do it. We feel so very blessed and I grateful to our Father in Heaven for all that he has given us.

Well, here are few pictures of Robbie from the past couple of months. Our computer died and we are in the process of getting all of our pictures off of the hard drive. So, more pictures will be coming soon.

Robbie is Two!

Well, Robbie turned two on October 7th. He is definitely two. He certainly keeps me on my toes. Here are a few pictures from a birthday party we had for him. Aunt Heather came to visit that day. It was really fun to have her there.

Picking out a Pumpkin

In October we went to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween. It was a lot of fun but, Robbie fell asleep on the way there and was a little grumpy when he woke up. It was hard to take pictures of him and he wouldn't smile for us at all!

Hiking

We haven't had a camera since October so that is why I haven't posted in a while. However, I do have a few pictures from some hiking we did before the weather got really cold. I wanted to post those. We have a lot of fun going up Logan Canyon and hiking. Robbie loves to be outside! In October Rob brought home a puppy he found starving in the wilderness when he went shooting with a group of guys from church. We named her Harriet. We call her Harri. She also loves going up the canyon and running off some energy. Well, we got a new camera finally, so hopefully I will be able to post newer pictures soon.

Robbie's Teeth

Robbie has almost all of his teeth now. He loves to show them off for us.

Robbie's First Camping Trip

Robbie went camping for the first time last week. I was a little nervous. But, he did awesome! We went with our friends Mike and Sandy. It was so much fun. We made s'mores and tin foil dinners. By the end of the night Robbie looked like Pig Pen. Let's just say he left a ring in the bath tub when we came home the next day.

Final Thoughts on My Trip Back Home

It was so wonderful to be home. I'm glad I was able to see family again. Most of all it was nice to be able to spend time with my mother and my brother. I miss them so much. Robbie loves his Uncle Adam and Uncle Adam loves his Robbie. Family is such a great thing!

Bath time at Grandma's

Every night while we were visiting my mom, Robbie got to take a bath in Grandma's tub. He loves bath time!

Family Picnic

My Auntie Kathy had a big picnic while Robbie and I were visiting. It was so nice to see my family again. I loved being able to watch Robbie play with his cousins and spend time with Grandma Carbone. Robbie had so much fun playing with my cousin's kids, Taylor and Landon.

Baby in a Basket

Isn't it so cute how little kids love to sit inside of the laundry basket and boxes? My brother tied a rope to my mother's laundrybasket and then pulled him around the house in it. It's amazing what will keep a little kid happy.

Robbie and Taylor

Robbie and my cousin's daughter, Taylor had a good time chowing down on the Doritos at Marc and Sara's Fourth of July Picnic. Needless to say, they didn't eat anything else that day that was even remotely good for them.

Robbie and His Green Thumb

Robbie loves to do whatever anyone bigger than him is doing. He, of course had to help Grandma water the flowers. He is such a good helper.

Beach Baby

My mom and I took Robbie to Rocky Neck Beach while we were in Connecticut. Robbie loved the water but, was scared of the waves. When a wave would get near him he would scream and run away from it. It was so funny! We had such a good time.

So Good to See Family Again!

During our visit to Connecticut Robbie and I had the opportunity to go to Maine and visit Grandma and Winka. Also, while we were there we got to see my cousin Kelly and my Uncle Gene. It has been a long time since I've seen them. Kelly is so grown up now. It seems like only yesterday I was painting her nails and playing with her hair.

Robbie and The Rocking Chair

While visiting my family in Connecticut, Robbie discovered my old rocking chair from when I was little. He loved it. This was the first time he ever sat in a chair that was his side.

We Miss Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Hansen are serving as Mission Presidents in Houston, Texas. They left the end June. It was nice to be able to spend some time with them before they left. Robbie sure misses his Grandpa. He walks around the apartment calling out his name at random times during the day. It is so precious!

Fun At The Park

The first day that the snow melted, we took Robbie to the park. Kerri's brother, Adam, was with us and we all had a blast! At first, Robbie wasn’t too sure what to do besides run in the wood chips, but he quickly learned that playing on the equipment was much more fun.

All of us really enjoyed the time at the park and the warm weather. Even Adam got excited!
